One of the first things I do when I go through the door of church is turn to see and be welcomed by these two old friends. If you're not feeling the best, they are guaranteed to have you smiling in no time!

There's never a dull moment when Joanne Moore, Wendy Best and their Uncle Dermot Crookshanks are around - there's an awful lot of craic and laughter in that pew!
I sit diagonally opposite David and I think he must be the most relaxed member of the congregation. This is exactly how he sits during the service and I love watching his laid-back style - not to mention a bit of a yarn after the service.
Joan, who is well known to generations of children who attended Dromore Central Primary School, sings in the choir. Both have given a lifetime of energy and service to the church and community. They may refer to themselves as "Last of the Summer Wine" but these girls - Hazel, Audrey and Brenda - certainly brighten up my Sunday morning, and sitting right behind me, keep me in tune during our hymns!
