Ushering Rota May 1st Marie & Joe 8th Donna & Roderick 15th Linda & Philip 22nd Lorraine & Paul 29th Norma & Victor
If you would like to help with ushering duties please speak to Rev Moodie.
Guidelines
Please arrive at 11:10am at the latest.
One person on duty sanitizing hands outside.
One person inside ushering people to their seats.
When ushering, please fill up pews from the far end first. (This helps later on if someone arrives late, it is easier to identify a seat without having to walk through the church to look for one.)
Once a person has been shown to their seat, please continue to adhere to the one-way system out the exit door and return to the entrance from the outside to show the next person to their pew. This way ushers will circulate in and out and help to avoid clogging up of aisles.
When the service has started, one person on duty is to take the offering basket and put it on the Communion table.
One person should remain at the door until the beginning of the first hymn to receive any late comers. (The reason for this is that when a person arrives late they are more inclined to try and find a seat in a rush and potentially end up sitting in an inappropriate place).
