12th November 2017
The Dromore Branch of the Royal British Legion joined us for morning worship. The service was led by Rev Brian Moodie and Bible readings were taken by Colin Cunningham and Trevor Hawthorne. Trevor Hawthorne led the Act of Remembrance while Sam Newell, Dromore Branch Chair, and Joe Martin, Church member, laid a wreath at the memorial window.
The choir sang the anthem 'The Supreme Sacrifice' and Stephen Thompson was organist. Flowers were provided by Joan Black and arranged by Jean McIlroy.
"They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them."
Robert Lawrence Binyon 1869-1943
Rev McKee was our minister-in-charge fromJanuary 2016 to October 2017. He has been a great support to our congregation during this period of the vacancy and the Session and Committee thank him for his patience and encouragement during this time.
I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 416: 10
